Beach Cleanup's

Dream of Cleaner Beaches

We love the 18 beautiful miles of coastline in our beautiful state. This is superb coastline with many great beaches and surf breaks.  We were entrusted this coastline to enjoy so it our responsibility to protect it.

Why "Dream of Cleaner Beaches?"

"Dream of Cleaner Beaches" is the NH tag line for us to rally around in regard to making sure our beaches stay in top shape.  How often have you walked on the beach and at face value they seem clean. Like nothing is there.  But then you look. You take a close look and find small plastic or foam pieces.  Is the beach clean?  Well it is might not be littered with plastic cups, aluminum cans and other things, but it really is not that clean.  Plastic and foam fragments are everywhere. They end up in fish, we step on them, we even ingest them. Hence our quest to "Dream of Cleaner Beaches."  Join in our journey. It is not for the faint of heart, but the rewards are heartfelt.

Get Your Hands Dirty and The Beaches Clean

"Get Your Hands Dirty and the Beach Clean" is yet another one of our fun chapter sayings.

Our chapter based beach cleanups are run every month on Saturdays from 9AM to 11AM.  We are a resilient bunch so bad weather rarely stops us.  But our favorite days are sunny days.  We cover beaches such as The Wall (by the bathhouse), Jenness State Beach, and Rye Harbor State Park.  Come join in the fun and do some good for our beaches!  If you cannot join a chapter beach cleanup on a Saturday you can always do a DIY (Do It Yourself Cleanup).  Anytime you walk the beach pick up some trash. We even have branded buckets at local shops like Cinnamon Rainbows and Summer Sessions for you to take part in our DIY program.
